Oozy’s Lab controls & starter tips

Oozy’s Lab is a platform game in which you guide a bouncy slime through a laboratory built around movement and unexpected reactions. The room can change after you press a button, so a route that first looks obvious may need a second look.

Poki tells players to collect the moon in each level, while Wackytoaster’s own page describes the goal as reaching the finish. In our July 26 current-build playtest, every World 1 finish worked without collecting its moon, and the selector kept a red X on all five moon icons. World 2 produced a narrower result: Levels 1 and 3 worked without their moons, Level 2’s route collected one, and the final state of Levels 4 and 5 was not rechecked. On July 27, all five World 3 finishes also worked without their moons, and its selector retained five red X marks. World 4 added another bounded result: Levels 1, 2, 3 and 5 worked without their moons, while the tested Level 4 growth route collected one. In World 5, Levels 2 and 5 worked without their moons; the tested routes for Levels 1, 3 and 4 collected them. In World 6, Levels 3, 4 and 5 worked without their moons, while the final states for Levels 1 and 2 were not rechecked. In World 7, Levels 2, 4 and 5 worked without their moons; the final states for Levels 1 and 3 remain unknown. In World 8, Level 5 worked while its moon remained present; the tested routes for Levels 1–3 collected their moons, and Level 4’s final moon state was not retained, so Levels 1–4 remain unknown. That is why this guide reports moon evidence Level by Level.

Oozy also leaves color across the surfaces he touches. Poki presents that as part of the visible action; we have not found primary evidence that the trail itself is a required puzzle mechanic.
